Bates Motel (film)

Bates Motel is a 1987 madefortelevision film and a spinoff of the 1960 suspense horror film Psycho starring Bud Cort, Lori Petty, Moses Gunn and Jason Bateman which premiered on NBC on July 5, 1987.

Alex West Bud Cort roomed with Norman Bates at the state lunatic asylum for nearlyyears, and they became close friends. After Bates death, Alex learns that he has inherited the Bates Motel, which has been vacant since Normans arrest. Alex travels to Bates California hometown renamed Fairville for this film in the original film it was Fairvale and with a little help from teenage runaway Willie Lori Petty and local handyman Henry Watson Moses Gunn, Alex struggles to reopen the motel for business. A series of strange events subsequently occur.The film was released to DVD on October 3, 2013 as a part of Universals Vault Series, exclusively on Amazon.com. ........
